Axlor Consulting provided expert support to successful settlement negotiations concerning a cost recovery action.

Our client purchased a large industrial site that was later found to be contaminated by the prior owner. Perchlorates remained on-site in the soils and migrated off-site in a groundwater plume. Axlor prepared expert testimony and participated in depositions on National Contingency Plan (NCP) consistency of past costs, the calculation of prejudgment interest, and the expected value of estimated future costs related to cleanup at the site. Axlor also evaluated allocation issues and future cost estimates proposed by the opposing expert.
